• Managed the main product line featuring a telecommunications platform that streams HD video and audio from within the operating room to surgeons, trainees, and medical device representatives.
• Defined the product roadmap through communication with users, C level executives, and business partners
• Led multiple teams of engineers, devs, and designers completely remotely.

Smart Reporting aims to revolutionise medical documentation using universal structured reporting and healthcare analytics in radiology, pathology and more.

• Responsible for the flagship product that integrates with PACS, RIS, and HIS systems to provide an enhanced reporting experience to radiologists
• Oversaw development of the product with my team consisting of software engineers, designers, clinicians, and academics.
• Drove, discussed, and documented the vision, design, and go-to-market strategy of the product with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Public Health England exists protect and improve the nation's health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities.

My responsibilities as product manager at Public Health England include:

• Managing the redevelopment and design of the official public facing coronavirus (covid-19) dashboard in the United Kingdom with collaboration from PHE, NHSX, GDS, and other parties.
• Managing the planning, development and implementation of the Evaluation Service - a project that aims to demonstrate the impact, cost effectiveness, and benefit of digital health products to public health.
• Leading a diverse team including a delivery manager, user researcher, service designer, and academic expert towards achieving the product vision
• Championing and moulding the product vision based on the needs of the users and the needs of the organisation

• At Healum, I manage the InnovateUK sponsored testbed project to deliver digital care and support planning technology for diabetes into the NHS.

You and Type 2

My product at Smart Reporting is a unique and novel way for radiologists and pathologists to create medical reports. The product makes it easier for users to structure medical observations made when reading exams and it integrates with various medical systems including RIS, PACS, and HIS using HL7, FHIR, and REST APIs. The result is a delightful and seamless user experience that is unparalleled in the reporting world.

At Public Health England I led the development of the official dashboard for covid-19 in the UK. This product communicated new cases, deaths, and other information using graphs, an interactive map, and figures. The dashboard was used by government and public health officials to make decisions on public health policies or strategies, as well as the general public to understand how the country was dealing with coronavirus.

• Created user stories and functional requirements to define the product.

UCAN - Understanding Childhood Arthritis Network is an eHealth platform for children with arthritis, their families, and clinicians. The aim is to create a tool to supplement rheumatology visits and incorporate genomic information to better address the needs of children with this disease.
• Worked with stakeholders, developers, designers and subject matter experts to define product functionality and user stories.
• Facilitated agile meetings and issue creation to track project progress and velocity.
• Tested the product to ensure that the designed functionality followed UI/UX best practices and met specification requirements.

Research
Identifying Changes in the Development of Bone Marrow Progenitor Cells with MARRS Modification
Under the supervision of Dr. Kelly Meckling at the University of Guelph, I investigated the maturation of stem cells with modification of a novel vitamin D receptor to explore potential new immunotherapy opportunities for leukaemia.
Researched the MARRS receptor in mouse and cell culture models.
Conducted bone marrow dissections and CFU assays on hematopoietic progenitors.
Worked with modified NB4 cell lines in order to identify changes in cell differentiation with various vitamin D and TPA treatment groups.
